You do not have to spend money at all to cure youself of acne’. All you have to do is discipline your eating habits. “Eat One Meal A Day” and you’ll never get a pimple so long as you truly eat the right foods for the human body. Sugar is the enemy of the body! I used Proactiv in high school. I used it for 2 months and it definitely cleared up my acne, so I told all my friends about it, and they got it. A month after that, it stopped working for me. Acne came back and wouldn’t go away. What I thought was a miracle ran its course in about 3 months. I used the Murad Spot treatment (not the whole kit) and the most noteworthy result is the reduction in pimple size.

have you tried the acne free products, they worked about the same for me as compared to proactiv. both cleared some acne but let another patch form somewhere else
Proactiv sorta …
Proactiv sorta kinda works for me. It has not yet given me perfect skin. It will clear up some of my pimples for a while, but they then come back during my err… ummm…… “time of the month” haha. Being a female teenager in 8th grade, image is something that matters no matter how much you do or dont care about it. I’m hoping I will soon get perfect skin. FINGER CROSSED!
i only ever got it …
i only ever got it mildy but sometimes during stress (ie a level exams lol) it got worse so Gp gave me isotrexin (milder form of isotretonin) with an antibiotic in it – very very effective. Causes drying peeling of skin (so use at night) but this always happens and it isnt to much of a worry at all it comes of quickly…highly recommend it
Proactive only …
Proactive only works because it completely depleats your sebaceous glands!!! LOL you’re acne may be gone, but when you’re 30 you’ll have wrinkles!! Oily skin and zits are a part of life (and yes in some cases it can be a matter of quality of life) however, when you’re older you’ll be so glad you have oily skin.

well, to tell u the truth. i have the worst kind of acne. the one where no other the counter meds can help. i use something called Claravis. look it up. well in this med. u have to get blood drawn and stuff. its no laughing matter. it even causes bith defects (i dont have to worry about that thank God).

Sorry Proactiv didn’t work for you. You may want to try it again since you’ve noted that you probably didn’t use it correctly the first time around. Proactiv really does work. Most people just don’t know how to use it which is why they fail to see results.

Murad did nothing.. didnt help didnt get worse. The spot treatments 4 proactiv = soo much better. Uhm it is like a rip off of proactiv, 4 step system.
