Acne is a serious skin disease, which occurs to anyone irrespective of his or her age, sex or race. This acute skin condition can consist blackheads, whiteheads, red spots and even deeper boil-like lesions called nodules or cysts. Thing is that, acne is something, which your skin dreads of .In fact, black men and women find it hard to deal with their problem of acne. Now, keeping that in mind let’s find out how to have clear black skin after acne treatment.

People from Africa, Native Australians, African-Americans, Caribbean and other islands have dark skin because the melanin content in the skin is quite high. Melanin actually protects the skin from the strong rays of the sun. Despite that their skin still is susceptible to acne. It is not surprising that many black skinned people suffer from this skin ailment.

Tips For Treating Acne On Black Skin

Acne treatments are not categorized for black or white skins. There are a number of remedies that you can rely on irrespective whether you are black skinned or white skinned. As first things first, the best that you can do for your black skin is follow good hygiene. Make sure that you religiously clean your face with a cleanser or soap at least once or twice daily. This ensures clean and oil-free skin. Try not to indulge in frequent washing. This would surely expose your skin to the harmful environment. Consider the products that you would apply on your skin before buying.

Homemade remedies are ideal for acne treatments. Cucumber, lemon, lime, tea tree oil, honey, oats, tomatoes, orange and turmeric can be the reason for your cure. The least you should do is apply it as a paste and leave it on for 15-30 minutes before washing it off. It not only destroys bacteria but also pulls out the excess oil making your skin ever so fresh and supple.

You may even trawl around for some non-prescription products in the market. Something like Benzoyl Peroxide or is it Salicylic Acid that can help you dispose of that agonizing skin problem.

When everything fails as acne treatment for your black skin, make sure that you seek the help of a doctor. Mind you, the option is suitable to those who have severe acne problems. Your doctor will see to it that you get more effective acne treatment for your skin. Azelaic acid, a good alternative to Benzoyl Peroxide, Antibiotic lotions and Oral antibiotics are all that is required to do away with acne. And if that doesn’t work then a laser treatment may be your ultimate resort.
There couldn’t have been any better tips as above to relief your black skin from acne.

Pale skin can be very translucent so finding the right foundation is one of your most important tasks. You may find that being so fair that you are a little more prone to ageing especially if you live in a sunny climate. I would recommend that if your foundation doesn’t contain a good amount of SPF that you always apply sunscreen on a daily basis as part of your beauty routine and, before your foundation to aid you in slowing the ageing process.

A yellow or beige tint to your base should be enough to minimize the slight redness from your skin if you are prone to acne or if you’ve been exposed to the elements for too long. It will give you a little warmth to your skin tone. Make sure the color match is perfect, because if your base is too dark, you will look like you are wearing a mask. Use your foundation to even out your skin tone preparing it for the artwork to come next.

Go easy using bright colors on your eyes, as on pale skin they tend to be a bit too much. Try soft pastels, sheer shimmers and natural hues with warm undertones. A little mascara is good too. If your iris is pale then you may need to wear a taupe liner to frame your eyes. Groom your eyebrows and line with a blonde brow powder or smudged pencil. ??Cheek color is where you can bring a little more than the usual natural glow into your coloring. You need richer tones like sheer plum cheek tints and go for a deeper shade of lipstick. This will contrast nicely with brown or red hair. Experiment with brown-reds or berry shades and for a more dramatic evening look a go for true reds.

Coral shades are emerging. I love using a gingery sheer eye gloss, lashings of dark brown mascara, lots of warm cheek tint on the apples of my cheeks. I add a hint of shimmer across the top to bring the eyes out. I might use nude glossy lips for something a little funkier and it looks divine on translucent fair skin. I’m a redhead myself but you may have to alternate tones depending on your coloring and hair color.

Have fun discovering your new colors.

There are several ways to clearing your skin and relieving dryness. There so many people out there who need to know how to clear their skin without spending a fortune. Dry skin is something that you can avoid.

I want to first start off with showing you how to clear your skin. If you use these secrets you should start seeing improvements within weeks.

Here are the secrets you can use to feel relieved:

1) Tea tree oil

Tea tree oil works well on fighting acne. It is a natural substance, which has been used all through out history for treating cuts, burns, acne and other infections. Tea tree oil is an essential oil derived from the Malalueca tree, which grows in North America.

The way tea tree oil works is by penetrating deep down into the skin layers relieving pain and healing your wounds. Not only does it disinfect but also deodorizes leaving you with a pleasant scent.

Massage tea tree oil into your blemishes and it will start to sooth your skin. For best results, look for 100% pure tea tree oil.

2) Myrrh Wash

To prevent yourself from harming your skin you want to treat it gently. This is why herbalists recommend myrrh wash. You don’t have to worry about it being to strong on your skin. Myrrh wash treats acne and helps to prevent breakouts.

You can make your own myrrh wash. All you need is a shallow dish, some water and myrrh tincture. Add about 25 drops and then start to mix it. Take a swab of cotton and dab it into the dilution. And now brush gently across your face. Do this during the morning or evenings.

3) Barberry Capsule And Fennel Tea

There may be lots of build-ups of toxins and impurities in your body. If you fail to eliminate them they can and will eventually exit through your skin.

Use barberry capsules to cleanse your insides and eliminate toxins, which may be causing you skin problems. Barberries are often used for reducing inflammation, bruises, aches and sprains. Use up to four cups of fennel tea after taking the capsules. Fennel tea is used as a digestive stimulant.

Your skin should be cleared within 4 to 6 weeks.

4) Azelaic Acid

Azelaic Acid is derived from wheat and helps to cleanse the skin from acne. It also reduces inflammation, exfoliates and clears up your skin. The gel works well to clear up papules and pustules. Can also be used on rosacea preventing flair ups.

Azelaic acid will keep pores clear. Now I must warn you that it does have side effects but nothing to serious. And so you can choose whether or not you would like to test it for your self.

5) If you are suffering from acne; trying to eliminate oil from the skin is not recommended. Use oil that is derived from flowers and plants. You can apply it directly to the infected area without it clogging up pores.

Some essential oils to use are:

Geranium oil: Is known for its healing powers. It is mostly used as an anti-inflammatory and antiseptic.

Chamomile oil: Also good for treating inflammation in skin.

Bergamot oil: Helps to reduce stress, acne, inflammation, infections etc. Also have antiseptic properties.

6) Papayas

Papayas are not just for eating. You can actually use them for treating dry skin. In fact, there are moisturizers that are made from papayas. Here is a way that you can use it to benefit your skin and relieve the dryness.

Apply the flesh of the papaya on your face and let it sit for about five minutes. Remove it sooner if you start to feel any stinging or tingling. It is believed that the enzyme in the papaya helps to get rid of dead skin cells. You should be able to find this product in your produce store.

7) Carrot Seed Oil

In this day and age most essential oils are overlooked. A lot of people feel the need to use expensive moisturizers to smooth their skin. Carrot seed oil is an essential oil capable of toning, smoothing, moisturizing and promotes healing to your skin.

You can use the standard dilution guideline of 2% essential oil and 98% carrier oil, which may be grape seed oil, olive oil, peanut oil, walnut oil or sesame oil etc. An aroma therapist in the herb store can help match your skin type and carrier oil.

Final Thoughts

If you apply some of these techniques to your skin you should see some pretty good results. The great thing about these products are that you don’t have to worry to much about any side effects. I wish you success on your journey in finding that right formula to clear your skin.

One of the most common misconceptions about acne is that it is a sign of improper hygiene. Even with proper hygiene, you can still have acne or pimples.

Acne is a skin condition wherein the pores of follicles of the skin are blocked. The oil which should have been coming out of the surface of the skin is blocked, along with the dirt and bacteria, causing pimples to grow.

Basically, there are two forms of blemishes which break out on the skin’s surface: blackheads and whiteheads.

Whiteheads form when oil, dirt and bacteria are trapped below the surface of the skin. Blackheads, on the other hand, form when the trapped elements beneath the layer of the skin turn black because of melanin.

Either way, the exact cause of acne is relatively unknown. This is a common skin condition which affects most people, no matter what gender, skin color or age.

Acne is more common among adolescents but adults may also experience it.

Acne among teens may cause more of an emotional than a physical problem, because of the hormonal changes that they experience before being full-fledged adults. Thus, aside from the physical treatment of acne, you may also need some emotional support so that you will not experience a lowered self-esteem because of this skin condition.

Although facial acne is more widespread, it may also form on other parts of the body.

This being a common skin condition, there are several treatments and over-the-counter solutions which can help prevent acne.

‘Who Else Wants to Have a Clear, Acne-Free Skin?’

There are a lot of options available for you if you have acne.

First, there is chemical peel which is a light and simple procedure that will literally peel off the superficial layer of the skin. There are several types of chemical peel, depending on your skin’s needs.

There is also plastic surgery which can get rid of deep wrinkles, heavy skin pigmentation and a severe case of acne.

More commonly known are the over-the-counter acne kits which you can use at home to help prevent and finally get rid of those unsightly whiteheads and blackheads.

Zits, pimples, blackheads or whiteheads, no matter what you call them, acne is something that is foreign to your skin that you should get rid of.

Here is a quick guide on how you can fight acne and get that blemish-free look that you’ve always wanted to have:

1. Have an appropriate skin-cleansing regimen.

If you have been suffering acne for a long time and you finally run into a product that actually works for your skin type, keep using it.

The basic step is to cleanse and moisturize your skin. Use a mild cleanser which is most appropriate for your skin type. Use a medication with the basic benzyl peroxide or salicylic acid.

While applying the cleanser, do not rub vigorously or use a harsh wash cloth to prevent further skin irritation. After cleansing, use a good moisturizer to keep your skin smooth and hydrated.

2. Avoid touching the affected area.

The key is to keep your face as clean as possible, so you need to avoid touching your face with unclean hands. Also, never attempt to squeeze or pop out the zits to get rid of them. This will only worsen the condition of your skin.

3. Consult a dermatologist if over-the-counter treatments do not work for you or worsen the condition.

There are severe cases of acne which are better treated by consulting a dermatologist.

Finally, it would not hurt to maintain a healthy diet. By combining this with a daily cleansing ritual, you can keep your face acne-free and achieve that unblemished look.

Is your skin highly prone to acne? Do you often suffer from acne breakouts? What if you can have better skin without the high cost of surgery or other medical procedures? What if the solution to your acne problem is vitamin E and all you have to do is consume foods rich in this vitamin or take vitamin E supplements? Would you try it? Many acne sufferers would collectively answer, “You bet!”

Vitamin E is an antioxidant. In simple terms, antioxidants fight free radicals, agents that damage cells in our body. When the body has the necessary amount of vitamin E, it can produce wonderful effects on the skin because it means that more antioxidants are present to eliminate free radicals in the body and reduce the damage they do to the cells. The fewer the free radicals that can do damage on your cells, the better looking, healthier and more radiant your skin is. And healthy skin means fewer acne.

Vitamin E is far from being the cure for acne. There is actually not yet any cure for acne, although vitamins A, C, zinc, selenium and magnesium can help in the treatment of acne. What vitamin E does is help reduce acne. Considering that you can easily and inexpensively get vitamin E from food sources and supplements, you don’t have anything to lose by trying out the vitamin E method of fighting acne.

In addition to helping reduce acne, vitamin E can contribute to reducing acne scar since its antioxidant properties help regenerate the skin. And if you have other skin conditions like eczema, dry or scaly skin, bruising and psoriasis, vitamin E can help improve your skin. Antioxidants also have anti-aging properties so taking vitamin E can further help slow down the aging process.

So are you ready to fight your acne? Start eating foods that are rich in vitamin E — spinach, nuts, seeds and olive oil, to name a few. You can also start taking vitamin E supplements. The choice is yours. Good luck!

A high percentage of individuals have been tormented by skin
problems like blemishes, rashes, pimples, blackheads and acne.
These problems are commonly experienced during puberty or an
early stage in life where people tend to be most socially
insecure. Aside from being physical, the effects can also be
psychological. It can drain an individual’s self-esteem and
confidence. Some individuals may continue experiencing acne
related skin infections decades later and it may eventually
diminish during early adulthood for most people. There is now
way of predicting when it will gradually decrease or fully
disappear. Pimples, blackheads, and blemishes are among the most
common skin infections caused by acne. The infection is a result
of excessive secretions of oil from the skin glands and its
buildup when a skin pore is blocked. Upper regions of the body
like the face, chest, back and upper arms are commonly infected.

Acne can be irritating for most people since it can almost be
unpredictable and uncontrollable once it strikes. The exact
causes of this skin disease are not known and there have been no
guaranteed measure in averting it. Diet, hereditary reasons,
vitamin deficiency and stress are among the factors that have
been closely attributed to acne infections. Still, it is best to
find a good acne skin care regimen to ease and control its
growth. An average person can make use of typical acne skin care
methods. For severe forms of acne, consulting dermatologists is
advisable in finding ways to lessen swelling and prevent
scarring.

Perhaps the best acne skin care regimen is to regularly wash
your skin twice a day. Using a mild natural facial cleanser and
warm water in washing your skin regularly can help remove dirt
and pollutants. Using strong detergent soaps and scrubbing your
skin can only worsen your acne problems. Too much scrubbing can
aggravate acne and it can also open up blemishes. Popping
pimples can make the blemishes to spread up causing more
infection. Some astringents are too strong and can cause more
skin irritation. Using astringents are only advisable for oily
skin. Washing your hair regularly can also help in acne skin
care. Washing hair, especially long ones, can help remove excess
oil and dirt that might come in contact with the skin.

Proper acne skin care also involves shaving and using the right
razor. Choosing and testing for a comfortable safety razor is
important when you have acne. Before applying the shaving cream,
the beard can be softened by washing it with soap and water.
Using a sharp blade and shaving lightly helps avoid cuts and
rupturing pimples. Many acne skin care products and medicines
for treating skin diseases can make your skin more prone to
sunburn. Exposing your skin for a while to the sun may help dry
up acne blemishes in the surface. Too much exposure to the sun
can cause rapid skin aging, skin cancer and can make your skin
drier.

Individuals that are prone to acne and are being treated for it
should use oil free cosmetic products. Benzoyl peroxide and
other acne skin care treatment can redden the skin so applying
regular cosmetics products might be difficult. Regular cosmetic
products usually contain more fatty acids that are harmful to
acne prone individuals. Looking for organic and acne skin care
products that will match your skin tone can help avoid more
infections.

It is still best that one should consult a dermatologist before
applying any acne skin care product or using different methods.
Exerting more effort is needed for serious cases of acne
infection to keep it from recurring. Observing proper acne skin
care is important especially for younger individuals since
blemishes and rashes tend to heal faster at a young age. Keeping
a healthy lifestyle and diet can help restore the body’s
vitality easily

Acne does not discriminate on the basis of age, gender, race or color of skin. It can happen to anyone at any time. Though genetically defined, this problem can occur even if your parent or grandparents have never had to face it. It can surface on the neck, face, arms, back and can afflict those who have a fair skin or black skin alike. Even though everyone gets stricken with a bout of zits at some time or another we all use some form of acne treatment at least once in our lives. The amount of competition has increased so much between companies providing acne treatments that companies sometimes sell their products on dubious differentiation.

Recent research has shown that in real terms there is no difference between the treatment required for black skin and white skin. The difference does exist in the way acne manifests itself. Black skinned people tend to have dark scars and blemishes while those with a fair complexion tend to get red inflammations as a result of acne. Different treatments are required depending on whether you have oily, dry or combination skin type but that is equally applicable to black and white skin both.

One normally visits a dermatologist when one has severe acne and resorts to self treatment and home remedies at the initial stages. We try and cure the scars and try and avoid getting more of the bane that pervades all society. There also needs to be an attempt to reduce the mental torture and tension caused by appearing in a social gathering with a large zit on the nose.

Many over-the-counter and prescribed topical treatments are available today which claim to be especially for black skin. Benzoyl Peroxide is one common acne treatment which diffuses into the skin and kills bacteria that causes acne in the first place. It dries up the wound and cures in a matter of hours. Other such treatments include salicylic acid, sulphur and resorcinol. Though extremely effective, each of these options comes with its basket of side effects be it redness, dryness or itchiness.

The market is abounding with creams, cleaners, face packs and lotions for acne treatment. There are cures in alternate medicines like homeopathy and ayurveda also. With so many options it is not surprising that we generally need the help of an expert to advise us as to the treatment which will suit us the best.

Your Guide to Acne treatments for Black skin

Black beauty maintenance Sometimes the best way to cure
something is to prevent it from coming in the first place. And,
this actually holds true with curing acne. One of the good ways
of acne treatment for black skin is to practice good hygiene.
This comes with making it a habit to clean your face with a
cleanser or a soap once or twice everyday to keep it clean and
oil-free. However, you should not mistaken frequent washing as a
good practice. This will actually expose your skin more with the
harsh environment. In addition, you should choose carefully what
things you’ll apply on your skin. You should put down products
that contain huge amount of isopropyl alcohol. This makes the
skin dry and in turn will make your glands to produce more oil!

Let’s Paste It! Acne treatments for black skin can just be right
at your home! Many fruits and vegetables are known for curing
acne! Some of the most commonly used includes cucumber, lemon,
lime, tea tree oil, honey, oats, tomatoes, orange and turmeric.
All you have to do is to apply it as a paste or mask on your
face and let it stay on for about 15-30 minutes then rinse.
These will either help you take away excess oil or kill the
bacteria that causes your acne. An enjoyable, light acne
treatment for black skin!

It’s all in the counter You might be thinking that it is more
safe and effective to just buy something as acne treatment for
black skin. Like home-made remedies, there are so many
non-prescription products that are out in the market. One of the
most popular treatment is benzoyl peroxide that helps you kill
that bacteria that gives you acne. It first dries the skin and
then helps in shed to produce a new, healthier layer. Salicylic
acid also helps you get rid of that unbearable skin problem.
This time your pores are unclogged to encourage skin peeling.

Doctor, My doctor! When it seems that all you’ve tried as acne
treatment for black skin did not work, you should see and
consult your doctor for some advice. This is especially
advisable to those who had severe acne problems. Your doctor
will surely give you more potent acne treatment for black skin!
These maybe either topical or oral treatment. These will include
azelaic acid, a good alternative to benzoyl peroxide, antibiotic
lotions and oral antibiotics. He or she might also suggest LASER
treatment as an effective acne treatment for black skin

Everybody wants to be beautiful in the most common standard of beauty—physical beauty. But sometimes, it is unavoidable to encounter problems when it comes to achieving physical beauty. One of these difficulties is having various skin disorders or skin diseases like acne.

SKIN CARE THAT TREATS ACNE

It is common for people regardless of gender, age, or nationality to experience skin disorders. But among the kinds of skin imperfections, most people would agree that acne is one of the most painful and hardest to treat.

Here are some of the skin care tips that could help you treat acne even if you are at home.

1. The very first thing to do to solve acne problems is to trace the causes of acne for you to understand what should be done about it.

2. Make a little review of your lifestyle for the past few years or months and look if you have been neglecting so much skin and body care lately.

3. Make sure that you get enough sleep of at least 8 hours or more.

4. Eat three hearty meals and healthy snacks on the side.

5. Give your body enough water supply by drinking at least 8 glasses of water daily.

6. If you have been stressed out lately, try to unwind and relax so you could go back to living a healthy lifestyle.

If your acne problem doesn’t get any better, it’s now time to find solution to your problem. The very first thing you should do is to open or unclog the pores by washing once or twice daily with a mild cleansing liquid or bar.

Aside from keeping your skin clear and clean by cleansing, it also minimizes possible irritation and inflammation of the skin. If the cleansing strategy doesn’t work out, try opening your pores through exfoliating cleansers and masques.

After cleansing, you should kill the acne-causing bacteria by using antibacterial cleansers especially those that contain benzoyl peroxide. An acne patient can also kill the bacteria by using topical or external medications that come in the form of creams, gels, and lotions applied in the area affected.

Since too much oil in the skin aggravates acne, you should reduce the excess production by using gentle astringents or toners. Use products that contain glycolic acid or facial masques that have sulfur or antibacterial pads that have benzoyl peroxide to draw out the oil. If you want to conceal acne, you can use water-based or oil free cosmetics.

But above all these, dermatologists agree that having a good skin regimen is the ultimate skin care that treats acne. Developing a basic skin routine by using products that have benzoyl peroxide wash or salicylic acid and the application of benzoyl peroxide gel or cream can help you solve the skin problem.
